I can't wait to go back to this beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The grounds are magnificent. Elk walked right up the parking lot and enjoyed the plants. One employee, named Chris, was especially nice and courteous during my visit. He was working in the presidential suite on July 18th during our friends wedding.
The drive there was beautiful but the actual location is behind a Safeway next to some track homes. Very disappointed. I was really looking forward to it.
we really enjoyed our tour, and our guide Aidan was the best! he was entertaining and informative, and everyone associated with the hotel was helpful and friendly. we WILL be coming back there to take more tours and to stay at the hotel.
Took both the Hotel Tour and the Ghost tour. Sophie, or first guide, was very accommodating in helping us set up last minute tickets and extremely entertaining and informative during the tour. Cody, our ghost tour guide, was fun, knowledgeable and congenial. The Cascades was a bit pricy, but good food.
Love the hotel. Love the history. Love the mountains. It's a beautiful place. Be sure to take one of the guided tours of the Birk lhotel to hear about it's history.
Had a great stay, can't wait to come back! Ghost Tour is a must, very cool!
I love the rustic look and old feel. The staff was very polite. I did not encounter any weird activity but it was the best sleep I had all week. I will be back again. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
Only been here half a day, but love it already. Accommodations are great, even for a family. And good and bar are lovely. Would come back. P. S. Just enough "The Shining" to make it novel.
