Just walked around. Very beautiful hotel. Loved the displays and the architects design
very rude bar tender but the hotel was nice I would like to stay there
We went up for the day. I wanted to see the setting of an English project for college. Had a wonderful tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Stanley Hotel. Can't wait to do it again someday. Would love to stay for a night in one of the Haunted rooms. Might have to make a reservation.�
Horrible experience! Our room wasn't ready when we checked in, waited to speak to a manager for 45 minutes and there wasn't one on site. Finally got to our room and the coffee pot had mold growing in it and the trash had not been changed in the bathroom. We will not be back and would not recommend this hotel to anyone... You would get better service at the motel 6!!!!

My family spent Christmas Eve there we had 6 rooms my parents stayed in Stephen King' s room 217 it was a very nice suite, my husband and I stayed in 407 we had 2 experiences a cart faint knocking on our door and it felt as if someone jumped on the edge of our bed.... pretty cool my kids stayed in different rooms they roamed the hotel through the night had a blast. Food was very good but service was very poor, it should not take 20 minutes to get a drink!
Paul Doyle What could be better than to be at the Stanley Hotel at Christmas?......Early morning Christmas Eve and Christmas Day....sitting by the fire at 5Am reading a good book and just soaking in the majesty of this place we have come to love............WRONG....Christmas Eve and Christmas morning....and all during the day and night. 24/7..pop music blasting throughout the lobby.....I tried to help....I brought this to the attention of 5 different staff members yesterday......might as well have been talking to the wall...... read more
