Walked the grounds simply to take pics of the exterior and soak in some Shining. Parking guy was very friendly, no charge to park and laughed when we said "Heeeere's Johnny!" Outdoor bathroom facilities were very nice, high quality TP. I would eventually like to take a special lady friend for a stay!
We took the history tour yesterday. I learned SO much! Our tour guide was so sweet and engaging. I couldn't believe how sweet the story is behind the entire place! Can't wait to actually spend the night sometime!
Took the 90 min. tour. It was very informative and interesting. I recommend it to anyone visiting.

This is a fabulous hotel and is brimming with history. I would really recommend everyone to take the tour around the hotel as it is amazing and very informative and interesting. Our tour guide was excellent and made the hotel come alive. As a Scot I really enjoyed it.
We had an awesome experience. Our tour guide Abbey was knowledgable and Fun.
Very disappointed! Talked my hubby into going here for lunch despite the pricey lunch menu. My salad much smaller than previous visits. Jake the waiter very unattentive as he would have made much bigger tip if he asked us if we wanted another drink or offered dessert menu instead if bringing the bill!!
Visited for the daytime tour. Our tour guide's name was Kate. She was very knowledgeable and personable. I would definitely recommend going on her tour. I can't wait to come back and take the nighttime tour!
