A wonderful experience all should see if they are in Colorado. It has awesome history and the views are just breathtaking! We had the best tour guide, she was bubbly and fun...sorry I forgot her name, but she dressed up like a butterfly. :)

We stayed at the Stanley for just one night last night for my boyfriends birthday. 10/09 It was wonderful. The staff was amazing. We got put into the aspire residency and my boyfriend asked them if we would be able to switch to a room at the actually hotel, they did everything they could to find us a room to fit 5 of us. We got to the room and it was too small to fit 5 of us comfortably. We talked to the staff up front again and we told them we could take the original room at the aspire. The room was great walk in closet. Walk in shower. New but still old if you get my meaning. Me and my husband were both sick but since they have a no cancellation or rebooking policy we went anyway. We stayed in the room all night to rest but got out in the morning to explore some. Love the old hotel. Wish we could have rescheduled our night though.
The staff was amazing with the exception of your manager. The manager on duty around 3 pm over the front desk he could use some guest service skills. Possibly have him spend sometime with the front of the house staff and learn some guest skills. I hope he doesnt make more than his employees because they were better at thier job and representing your buisness. This was my first visit but I hope not my last. Our tour guide Andy was excellent. Andy was fun and made learning the history about the Stanley fun.
It was very cool!! A lot of history!! I would take the tour again.
for every client to know this. The Stanley is taking advantage of foreign students that are working for them with visas right now and this is what they are doing. They are NOT PAYING the servers and others the TIPS! This is against the CO employment laws! They pay them the minimum and pocketing their tips. This is BS and is taking advantage of the poor people that come from other countries to work for them!
