My husband and I attended the Halloween party on Saturday night. The party was so much fun. And the food they provided was pretty tasty. And they were very good at refilling it as needed. They had areas decorated for photos and that was fun also. My only complaint would be is no seating or table's ! The party was in a pretty small area. And it was packed with people over packed ! So it was hard to move around. But all in all it was fun. Already planning our costumes for next year....
Absolutely beautiful setting and property. The history is cool and the tours are a must. We went to the masquerade ball and it was enjoyable with plenty of food and a live band. We are hoping for some paranormal activity
Excellent place loved it. Came here for a wedding. One of the best venues I’ve ever been too. The wedding was in Lyons which was about 20-30 minutes away
We attended the masquerade party last night. Best Halloween party by far! Excellent decorations, great food, and excellent band! Will be planning to come back next year! Also took the history with Andrew on Saturday he was phenomenal! Gave such great history and insight but was also very funny! Overall I give 5 stars! Highly recommend!
It is in need of some basic renovation. The Shining was not filmed in the hotel, so that was kind of disappointing. It is a grand old hotel that needs some TLC.
