Came from New York, upstate, where we also have haunted hotels amongst us.. This was amazing an Lilian was spot on.. She rocked! Gorgeous place
Fun, family friendly day time ghostly tour. Just enough to get the kids attention, making the tour of the hotel loads of fun!! Our tour guide was RedRob. We also met ScaryMary! Do this tour with kids over 5. The hotel is beautiful
Awesome Views of the mountain and there were Elk walking around...
Checked in at 1am. Front desk was less than informative. Parking limited for guests. Not the most handicap accessible. Room was small. Walls between rooms thin. The bison ribeye and duck breast a must at Cascades restaurant. Great location for access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Other than check in, the staff was friendly to include housekeeping staff. Awesome views from hotel.
Lindsey in the Tours department saved the day when I called to beg for them to fit my girlfriend and I in to a same day tour (when I mistakenly booked a tour for the previous day), and she did it with no issue! I almost cried when I realized my mistake, as we are HUGE Dumb and Dumber fans and it was a bucket list experience to see where Harry and Lloyd stayed with Mary's Money (lol). Lindsey made my whole vacation by being nice enough to understand my dilemma and squeeze us into a spot, so thank you! Our tour guide, Scary Ma... read more
The hotel is beautiful and we love the fact that they remodeled, but kept the look and style of the 1900's. The mountain views are simply amazing and the grounds are gorgeous as well. We enjoyed sitting on the huge back porch relaxing with a wine. The rooms are very clean and the service in the bar and restaurant are top notch! Ask for our favorite bartender, Luiz. He's awesome and a great mixologist! The bar also serves over 900 bourbons! The Park is only minutes away and the hotel is within walking distance to town. We wil... read more
I have been to Estes Park several times with visiting friends & have always driven up to the Stanley but never went inside. Yesterday was my first time going inside and around the grounds. Big Stephan King fan, so it was nice to see in person some of the areas you see in The Shining. Since it was day, lots of tourist, didn't get in weird vibes, but thinking may need to stay sometime when I can be there at night and less activity just to see if I anything interesting happens. Beautiful location with awesome views!!
Went in to have a drink and something small to eat. Got water and never saw our server. Waited for over 30 minutes before we just got up and left. Also saw a couple sit down at a table that still had the last customers check on the table. Granted it was pretty busy, they need more staff.
Had a blast was a very cool experience. Definitely recommend!
