This is the 5th hotel in Scotland that has cancelled a fully paid reservation. It is virtually impossible in this country to find hoteliers who honor their word that they will hold a room for a guest, even after full payment with a credit card. What's up with the Scots???
The pictures that you see on the web site are from very long time ago, was so disappointed not footy on tv no lager no red wine, room was covered on drink spillage on carpet, I won't recommend going for a stay here, staff were very unhelpful, go and find another place.

Staying for one night as wanted to take in the local sights The Standing stones, Ring of Brodgar and the Maeshowe chambered tumulus, room was quite nice but my travel partner asked for another towel to which it was no. After the restaurant closed there was no presence of staff in the hotel, no reception. The restaurant was very slow and seemed to only cater guests. The breakfast was very nice but we were off early. Was handy for the sights.
