The place is beatiful and tropical, everything we thought we would find here, the staff at the Cantina were amazing, the bell men were attentive, the market staff were very helpful. Where it needs some work is, the beds are horrible, we almost slept on the pull out couch. The morning hostess at the barefoot bar and grill, she never smiled or greeted any of the guests with anything other than, "it's a 45 minute wait". Second time here! We got a renovated room on the bay and it's amazing! Had a hot stone massage tonight and it was the best I ever had. They are on the expensive side but worth it being next to Sea World/ lego land, having several resturants on site, and multiple pools available. They have made improvements since our visit in January. It's great to see them taking care of it and hopefully see more positive reviews from that. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting San Diego!

Paradise Resort is a great place for families. There are 5 pools, multiple restaurants, and a private beach. The bungalow rooms are really nice and ours was close to everything. We walked all over the resort and the landscaping was spectacular. My only complaint was the $38 parking charge per night and the $32 resort fee added on

The front desk staff really started it off on the wrobg foot...no customer service, no smike just a ver obvious and obligatory handing over the keys ans a circle on the map....it was worse blah blah from there. I don't recommend it although it has potential if only the owners had the will.
