The resort itself was beautiful. However we booked a king bed room, and only got a queen bed. This after the front desk confirmed we had a king bed room. We had no maid service until 5:30 Saturday, and only after 3 calls to the front desk. The pool was nice, but no poolside service and only 1 bartender at the cantina, with a long line. We're having a great time, and would come again, but the hotel needs some improvement.
Beautiful resort. We had a great experience. Our room was a bay view and it was so. Ice to lounge outside and watch the rowers and paddle boards go by. We walked along the beach and rented a paddle boat. So fun! The only thing I wish was better was their beds. Too firm for our taste.
I selected this resort because of the beautiful pictures on the website and seemingly peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately there was a large, fraternity-like, rowdy conference happening during our stay, which detracted from the tranquility. That being said, we still enjoyed our time. It's in a convenient location. There are restaurants onsite. The buildings are older though; staff told us they are renovating soon and boy does it need it. The food was wonderful, the service was very good and the location of the bar and grill was top class. I enjoyed my evening there, can you tell?
Rooms can be updated. Ours had a musty smell - almost moldy or damp smell. It was definitely a pricy stay, had dinner at the grill 1 adult (side salad with grilled chicken) and 2 kid meals were almost $70. The facility is excellent and the staff was great. Great location and the grounds are awesome. We actually live in town and just wanted to get away for a night. It felt very much like a tropical island and a true vacation and not just a hotel for the night. I definitely want to go again. The kids absolutely loved the groun... read more
Relaxing, great staff and clean pools. Missing a few basics like more towel racks and note pads and pens. Somewhat dated...a lot of potential, Reno would be a good idea
There for Sharp University Leadership Conference. Lots of good food, great service. Would like to return for a spa day!
Had bugs in the room and old dated hotel looks are deceiving. Grounds are nice but the rooms are not good at all. Left and went to Hilton resort
B at the barefoot bar and grill is a natural. And really takes care of his customers. Donnell the manager at the cantina at the main pool is on top of his game and is awesome at taking care of the customer and his team. Shannon at the front desk was helpfully and patient. I say theirs from someone that is a Chef and in the business of hospitality . Thank you for keeping the spirit of the #pineapple alive! #peoplefirst. Chef Michelle Daniels
