Such a quirky place. Brilliant if you like trains. So lovely and the staff were friendly. We ate at the restaurant and found the food extremely good and value for money. Will definitely be staying again.
Had fabulous overnight stay for my birthday. Everything was first class from the four poster bed, marvellous greek cypriot food and a full english breakfast. A great place if you are a railway buff from the various memorabilia to close vision to the main ECML.
Cannot comment on Rooms but everything else is second to none.
Brilliant place for the train buff you get to sleep in a train carriage and see trains on the east coast main line.
What a great experience We received a lovely friendly welcome on our arrival. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and obliging. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast next morning was spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be visiting again. Many thanks
