Went for Sunday lunch with some friends. The service was very good, pricing is reasonable and a nice atmosphere. The roast lamb was fantasticly cooked as were the Beef n Ale pies. The vegetables unfortunately were ( like at so many pubs doing Sunday roasts) given absolutely no thought or care. What arrived with my pie was a bowl of over cooked mush where it was difficult to recognise any one particular vegetable from another.
