We had our monthly car club lunch at the Shoulder of Mutton and were really impressed. There was a good and varied choice on the menu. I had the steak and ale pie with chips and peas, which was delicious and served with plenty of rich gravy. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her hunter’s chicken as well. Both meals were excellent value for money. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, which added to the experience. Altogether, we had a very enjoyable lunch. Thank you.

Stayed for a few nights, had dinner and breakfast. Rooms were clean and well appointed, staff was helpful and friendly. Food was excellent! The pub attracts a lot of locals, so there's always conversation to be had if you like. The dining room is separate, but they serve food on the pub side as well if you prefer.
Lovely quiet out of the way place. Nice sized room. Breakfast was very nice. Check for WiFi password was in & out.
