We recently stayed for one night at The Ship Leopard Boutique Hotel to see our son off when he left the UK to go on military deployment. The hotel is ideally situated close to the historic dockyard and within walking distance of plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. We’d never been to Portsmouth before, so it was very convenient that the hotel has its own parking meaning we could park up, check in and relax before we headed out to explore. What a well-run, sensible value hotel this is! Kudos to mgmt and the extremely kind staff for a job well done!
The bathroom was very small but functional. We paid around 50% more for our room than our friends did, and they got a harbour view. We got a view of the car park. Everyone was friendly and we felt very welcome.
This is a great hotel and well run. Location is perfect with all attractions within walking distance. Gunwharf Quay is pretty much opposite yet you wouldn't really notice regarding noise, in fact the most impressive thing I found was the quiet rooms and well presented. Breakfast was hearty and inclusive which was one reason I booked here.
