Had lovely meal with friends but would recommend asking for a table at the back of the restaurant. We were seated right next to the bar and it was so noisy we couldn’t talk to each other. Which is a shame as we hadn’t seen each other for a long while! Had to leave as soon as we had finished eating.

Taken serval friends to The Ship in Burnham on Crouch this evening after booking six weeks in advance. Frequented this pub on a few occasions and it was delightful, food, drink, service and atmosphere, so highly recommended it to our friends. What a total and absolute disaster this evening 26th of July. The manager/owner almost throw the menus at us to start the evening, no good evening absolutely no communication, no starters and the main course we waited an hour for, very mediocre when arrived.
