The Sandman is one if the few contractors I have dealt with that told me when he was going to be there and how long the job would take and actually showed up on time and completed the job on time for the price quoted. My moms floors were old and patched but they turned out great for the shape they were in. He can not turn old floors into new but the improvement was amazing. Good communication. Shows up when he says he will. Sets realistic expectations of what he can and cannot do. Fair price. We have over 100 year old pine floors with a lot of wear and tear on them. He was able to keep the rustic look just like we wanted.

The Sandman was very responsive and answered all of our questions. He was knowledgeable and we learned about what we didn't know we didn't know. Our house is 242 years old and the floor needed repairs. Tim did an amazing job with the repairs. His focus on the details made all the difference in the world for the repairs. We will use him in the future as our restoration plan unfolds. We found Tim to be a man of his word & delightful!

I hired Tim to refinish floors in a rental, gave him a deposit and signed a contract. He came highly recommended by two contractors and his rate was very fair. He was he was prompt and very clear in describing the work he would do. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel the project. Tim was very professional and understanding in refunded my deposit. Honesty like this is rare in contractors.

I contacted Tim to provide a quote for my 126 year old dining room pine floor that I feared was beyond saving(it likely had not seen care in half that time). He accommodated my timing (Saturday job walk), gave straightforward answers of cost, problems, and job flow. He described when he would come, what he would do, and that his cost would not move. The Sandman did a great job restoring my hardwood floors. I live in a very old house that was my grandparents and the floors were getting old and the age was showing. My wife and I was going to try to refinish them ourselves but I just wanted to see if I could fine someone I could trust to do the work I expect at a fair price. The Sandman did an amazing job restoring our hardwood floors. They were covered in glue and we thought they were lost. Tim came in and brought our floors back to life!
