We stayed at Rutland Hotel earlier this year. While the hotel itself was nice, the service left us very disappointed. When we arrived, the staff refused to honour our online booking, saying they no longer use that platform. We had to argue our case just to be accommodated, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Things got worse after checkout. The staff confirmed there were no extra charges, but a few days later £160 was taken from my account without warning, supposedly for some shampoo bottles. We stay for 3 night 4 days and we had a blast. Our parents love the place coz it’s accessible area was fantastic
Such a great spot in the city centre of Edinburgh! It is at the same time, fancy, posh and handy, and also well renovated, especially for the wide and luminous flats next door the main building. Good balance between price and quality, helpful and welcoming services and personnel ! I strongly recommend ! The restaurants the Huxley and Kyloe are the cherry on the cake for this hotel
