My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay (visiting Newmarket on a Virgin Horse Racing Experience). We were given a very warm welcome by Allan which continued throughout our time there. We had originally been allocated a first floor room but immediately on noting my mobility issues he very kindly offered a free upgrade to a ground floor garden room which was greatly appreciated. Lovely staff, great food. Rooms are well appointed however mattress wasn't good at all. Other than that, lovely
