You may wonder why there are so many 5 star reviews, well we stayed for 2 nights in the Superior Room 4 and it exceeded our expectations, clean well presented. The food cooked by Jane was excellent. Just be prepared for a Big Breakfast. Christine is a delightful host, welcoming and very friendly. Will be definitely going back, thanks to Christine and Jane for a delightful stay! Steve and Cath

I am a wheelchair user and wished to have an accessible room. The Red Lion provided that in spades. The room and wet room were large and spacious. The cleanliness was superb. The owner, Christine went out of her way to provide me with a perching chair to use in the shower. Our room was in the annexe just outside the main building and we were advised to use the parking area there instead of the main car park. Stayed here for a 3 night break, could not fault it, the accommodation, food and hospitality were amazing. We stayed in No4 which opened onto the garden, the room was spacious, impeccably decorated and immaculate. We stayed during a heat wave so I worried about being in a hot room over night, but needn’t have, as the room had a large freestanding fan which kept us so comfortable.
