Super gastro pub with delightful cottages in the grounds. No faults to be found. Enjoyable dinner and breakfast and the executive room 7 was spacious with good facilties and large walk in shower.
We had such a great time at The Lion in Malpas. The service was spot on from start to finish, a big shoutout to Ali and Tia, who were both brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. The food was fantastic. The burger was juicy and full of flavour, the mussels were fresh and delicious, and the chicken wings had the perfect bit of heat. We went to lunch at The Lion. They have an excellent menu and the food was great. I loved the ambiance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. An wonder find.
Really good food and lovely atmosphere. Imaginative menu and food is cooked in house. Will definitely be returning.
