Not from this area of the country and we were looking for somewhere to eat that was dog friendly with parking. Although being slightly dubious from the outside view as the pub was looking tired, we received a warm welcome from the landlady and staff and we were seated in a comfortable seating area with a few doggy nibbles whilst we perused the menu. Great menu with plenty of choice. Good drink selection and friendly happy staff
Went with family for evening meal. Friendly staff Wonderful home cooked food. Generous portions and well priced. A gem of an inn. Well worth a visit
Avoid, came here with my wife for a nice meal after a recommendation but found it to be sadly lacking. We had a very dry lasagne and unfortunately i was sick for most of the night afterwards really disagreed with me and the wife did feel very well either. Staff were friendly but won't be returning
