What a find! The Red Lion came up when googled places to stay nearby to bury for myself and best mate to stay for his birthday. The usual travelodge etc came up but I liked the idea of a pub outside of the town. It had great reviews already so I booked it. The hosts and team are very very welcoming and the bar area is lovely with comfy armchairs etc and fire. The bar most importantly is stacked with great choice and for me I loved the fact it had great cask ales and small batch beers not just your usual beers. Room was clean... read more

One word fantastic, lovely friendly atmosphere and the pub /restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated our bedroom was decorated lovely and a large bathroom we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay
