Spa experience was amazing. Has great steam and sauna rooms, ice room, and jacuzzi. The relaxation room is also well eqipped with teas, snacks and water. With the massage, Zoey was so attentive and professional. Will be coming back again!
My family and I had a wonderful time again yesterday. Fabulous classic fish and chips and delicious reversed Cheesecake (the fruit and at the end and the ice cream on top was a great treat and combination!) that we’d highly recommend. An historical building from 1866 in the heart of Oxford turned into a fantastic and elegant hotel. As an avid Inspector Morse TV show fan, I had to visit this place for sure. There were some scenes filmed here, mostly from the second episode of series 1: The Wolvercote Tongue, and also some episodes from Inspector Lewis. If you are staying the night in the city this is an excellent choice to live the full Oxford experience.
I would recommend staying anywhere other than here in Oxford. I was brought to tears by one of their service staff and I tried raising this twice in person, and subsequently via their customer service and booking.com and I have received no response, apology or compensation. Truly some of the worst service as agreed by the ten people I was staying with.
