3m from a busy heavy goods train line with old windows that don't shut properly. Nit a great night. Plus the bio wash powder the sheets are cleaned in kept me awake itching . The bathroom really needed a clean. As for the food, after trying the coffee, I didn't dare. Stayed for work, left a day early, have requested it's never booked again.
This evening the owner of the establishment was extremely rude throughout my stay I believe she tried to take more payment than what was meant to be charged as she said 2 card transactions hadn’t gone through but followed by a successful third attempt? the owner constantly talked to themselves throughout. Ok pub...sells real ales and dogs allowed in the bar area...most staff are friendly..has outside sitting area...close to rail station...clean and quiet.
Great place. Friendly staff and doggo(brunel). Food smells great( I didn't have any) locals are nice and the pool table is well kept.
