I stayed after a funeral and was late checking in. The young man waited for me 2 hours and was so helpful. With my luggage and gave a special room with 4 poster bed as I couldn’t climb any more stairs. His name was vitale. And I want to thank him again. Room was perfect
Recently refurbished and really rather nice now. Burgers were excellent. Probably the best I've had anywhere in quite a while. Everything else was first class too. Great service. They make everything fresh to order, but when it arrives it's definitely worth the wait. Very, very impressed. We'll be back!
Friendly helpful staff. Great meal. Rooms were fine. Yes an old building but work progressing. Lovely atmosphere. Bar was noisy until 11pm as expected then quiet, so slept well. Prices great value compared to those I'd looked at in Frome.
