Disappointed with room very old and tiered, bed seen better days .would be lovely veiw if you can see out window. Also wind came in rotten window Frames a little chilly room even with small heater on. Could do with good clean also up dated. Breakfast was very poor , not lot of choice , cooked breakfast very poor. very short on staff. Breakfast was at a price above your room price. Also having to pay for parking not good £6.50 PER NIGHT. Poor service lets down what should be a good hotel in a prime location. Check in was fine although we had an issue with our room, which was sorted out really quickly. We were on the top floor, facing the harbour. Great view, tiny room but well equipped and clean. Bed was solid! We were told the hotel was full but didn't really notice, however breakfast was a shambles. There was a distinctive smell in a room, and the windows couldn't be opened. The lady at the reception offered us a fan as a substitute for an AC. At the restaurant, a number of menu items were unavailable. The waiter didn't know what drinks the restaurant offered. The breakfast was very poor. There were, of course, some cereal, yogurt, and pastries, but except for that, the only option was a full Scottish.
