A ‘proper pub’! Food is delicious here, the service is unhurried and perfect and great value. This is what every pub dreams to be. Wonderful.

Excellent evening meal . Very helpful landlady fitted us in without a reservation .very well run pub with excellent menu offering excellent quality well priced food. We had the beer battered cod and chips and Chicken , ham and leak pie which were very good with very generous portion sizes. For desert I had the bread and butter pudding which was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had ! Would definitely return again , well done all !

Had another good meal at the Plough Inn in Ford. I had the chicken and leek pie with mashed potato and a lovely cream sauce. The pie was very tasty, the pastry was crunchy and well made, and the whole meal was served on a piping hot plate, which shows that care is taken with how food is served. It was a very good meal. The only issue was the coffee. It arrived with the cup only half full, which isn't good, especially when coffee is so expensive these days. You expect a full cup.
