Stayed one night as friends were camping nearby and 2 weeks previously I had an operation so I needed a bed. The room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom had an excellent shower. Coffee, tea, squash, biscuits etc in the room and a mini fridge. Really friendly staff too.
We went for dinner, we’ve had both a carvery on a Sunday and visited midweek. The carvery I’d say was quite nice, but the potatoes were not very crispy. Lots of cabbage but no broccoli. The food we had mid week from the main menu was ok. Service was satisfactory. There was a good choice of drinks on offer. We didn’t have a desert but there was a lot of ice cream.
I come here yesterday with my husband and mother in law for a late birthday meal and I must say the fish and chips is amazing by far the best fish I tried at a pub so much flavour and so much food thank u so much for your service
