A thoroughly enjoyable stay from start to finish. The hotel sits in beautifully landscaped grounds and the moment we arrived the warm welcome set the tone. The room was spacious and bright, with thoughtful touches that gave it a real “home from home” feel, the comfortable bed, well-appointed bathroom and tidy tea/coffee making facilities all added to the experience (and a DAB Radio !) Love this hotel which I've been coming to for years. Lovely staff, great menu, good choice of wines. My steak was cooked to perfection as were the vegetables. Nice warm room well appointed and spotlessly clean. The viognier was delicious and recommended. Plenty of parking.
2nd time at staying at the Pheasant Hotel. So welcoming, amazing location, every-ones you meet is incredibly friendly. To me what sets this hotel apart from most others I've stayed is the little things, attention to detail. When you order a coffee it comes with cookie. There are truffles in your room when you arrive, all the equipment in your room is the highest quality. The breakfast was amazing and the bar area is lovely and traditional. Highly recommend to any-one
Excellent 2 day stay, really nice rooms breakfast was superb and the service was 1st class.
A nice hotel but pricey. The breakfast buffet was average. Nice croissants. Average bread. Poor selection of healthy cereals (cheap supermarket brands mainly). Standard selection of teas. Good cooked menu. Ask for anything out of the ordinary you get charged - like a hot chocolate £5 extra! Early checkin was charged £20. This is OK but was not informed on the email we received so came as a surprise (negative). On the whole the staff were pleasant, the facility and rooms were clean.
