If you don't have the money you don't deserve the pet! First of all I think people need to learn to do research-if you are told an animal should only weight this or that much and it goes over or something-think about it-ALL ANIMALS ARE DIFFERENT-you just might have gotten one that is so different its a lil over the pounds- the fact of the price is a GOOD THING-think about it if a person is willing to spend that much money that shows they are willing to TRULY take care of the animal. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM PLEASE LISTEN TO EVERYONE! I purchased two small kittens from the Petware Warehouse in Jacksonville, NC both were tabby cats very cute. I was told they were dewormed and had shots. I didn't receive any paperwork saying they had shots and I didn't realize it until I got home. Once I got home one of the kittens started vomiting blood and long round worms! what the hell? So I took them both to the vet and the vet said they had all 3 types of worms and were going to die. I'm just dissatisfied with the very, hurried, un bothered way I was treated today.
Got a puppy there a couple weeks ago. Said she was pure bred chihuahua. Definitely not! she is mixed. On top of that she was sick and when I took her to the vet they said they are seeing a lot of sick animals coming from there. Why aren’t they doing something about it. Selling puppies with kennel cough, parvo, upper respiratory virus. They shouldn’t be allowed to sell puppies.
I literally just got off the phone with one of the staff @ 12:26pm 4/16/2021. Firstly, when you answer a BUSINESS line introduce yourself, and business. As a consumer I shouldn’t have to ask to validate the name of the business I am calling. Secondly, don’t rudely state go to our website while I am talking. I am conducting business with you. PLEASE NEVER BUY AN ANIMAL FROM HERE!!!!! They don’t care about their animals. If you go and check inside, you’ll see right away how dirty and neglected the place and animals are. Most pups that have been bought from there, have parvo or other serious medical issues that cost $1000s. Not to mention the emotional stress it puts on you from almost losing your beloved pet ): Anyone that lives in this area, would NOT recommend! I hope this saves you from a traumatic experience.
I will never shop in this store again. I've given it chance after chance and they are the nastiest, most rude, mutant human beings in Jacksonville. I could open a pet shop next door and spit on people as they walked in and they would still feel more welcome than I did every SINGLE time I walked in your store. There is always a group of nasty women who scowl at you as you enter the store. Then they proceed to carry on a conversation like you don't exist. There is no "Welcome to Pet Warehouse." Super rude staff, don’t take care of their puppies or any other animal they get in that nasty store. Managers are just as rude. The owner is all about money and over prices EVERYTHING. Disgusting store and staff.
