Great place for a little bit of everything This store has any pet supply a pet owner could need. They also have dogs and cats from local breeders so you do not have to worry about it being from a puppy mill. I purchased my latest puppy from there and the puppy is very healthy. I have also purchased kittens in the past. They have a small fee for kittens. They state the fee is to make sure you are responsible with the kitten. a satisfied customer This store has very polite and helpful employees. I have a ferret that I bought from them almost 4 years ago. I have been taking her there almost weekly to have her nails trimmed. They don't require me to make an appointment to do it, and it doesn't matter when I get there, as long as I get there before it closes at night. Sick Puppy My husband and I recently bought a puppy from this establishment. I was skeptical at first because our first dog was purchased from a reputable breeder who warned us about pet store purchases, but we were assured these dogs were also from local breeders and not puppy mills and were very well taken care of. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE One year ago we bought our lab mix there. She had worms. It was an easy fix and I figured it was just a fluke. We recently bought our pitt bull puppy there as well. The day we got her home she had a cough. We took her to the vet and they told us that she had an upper respiratory infection. They also told me that the Pet Warehouse is known for having roaches. Parakeets not healthy So yesterday we came home and found that our beloved parakeet had passed away while we were gone. A parakeet that we had gotten from pet warehouse. This is the fourth parakeet that my family had purchased from this store, I don't know where they get their birds from, but every one that was purchased from here did not live very long. Illegality Is it against the law for this pet store to buy a litter of pup's found on a fencing construction site? I happen to know the person who brings puppies he finds to the Pet Warehouse in Jacksonville, NC. He gets paid peanuts for the puppies and then they are sold for much more. If this is against the law I will surely give out the name of the person bringing the litters in.
unprofessional and dirty this is the worst pet shop i've ever been to, but due to lack of option they are the only available to date for feeders. the slanderous unprofessional staff is iladvised and uneducated in exotics and gurus, dogs are over priced and normally sick, fish are lacking and barely last. I cannot understand why they hire kids, ex junkys and poorly groomed people with bad attitudes to work around animals much less people. I cannot wait for a real pet shop to open in this area
Cute animals, horrible employees. This store would be so much better if the employees weren't so horrible. Maybe all of them aren't bad but from what I've seen they are. Last time I was there, one of the employees was cleaning the puppy cages, she would leave the puppy's in the cage while she lifted up the floor grate. HORRIBLE PLACE If it wasn't required I'd give this place no stars at all. I bought my puppy here $1235.00 and I was not informed that it had a genetic defect. One of the males testicles will not decend which the vet said will not could will cause cancer. Also there was smaller things that the so called breeder should have done for the puppy. This place had the worst customer considerations, lack of professionalism, and poor resolutions. For my yorkie to be okay I have to have him fixed they are only willing to pay 120 of s $... read more
