Nothing but thieves and liers I have recently puchaced a puppy from these people. I originaly bought a cocer spaniel. I was buying this dog for my family expecially my two small children. Before buying the puppy we had a lot of questions. My main concern was if this dog would be good for my children. The staff assured me that this puppy and breed would be great. so we bought her. a satisfied customer This store has very polite and helpful employees. I have a ferret that I bought from them almost 4 years ago. I have been taking her there almost weekly to have her nails trimmed. They don't require me to make an appointment to do it, and it doesn't matter when I get there, as long as I get there before it closes at night. Sick Puppy My husband and I recently bought a puppy from this establishment. I was skeptical at first because our first dog was purchased from a reputable breeder who warned us about pet store purchases, but we were assured these dogs were also from local breeders and not puppy mills and were very well taken care of. Pet Warehouse not recommended for small animals. I dont recommend the Pet Warehouse for purchasing small animals. I purchased an adorable baby female guinea pig three weeks ago and it died three days ago. Im a previous cavy owner and took exceptional care of the critter and she turned out to be very sick and died. I researched and turns out she was sick before we purchased her. DON'T BUY THERE ANIMALS! RUDE employees: I've lived in Jacksonville since 2006 & frequently visit Pet Warehouse because my daughter & I love to visit with the animals. Today we were going in (I'm watching a friend's kid) & opened the door for the two girls to come in, the door was open maybe 10 seconds & the woman at the cash register turns to me and yells "PLEASE SHUT THE DOOR, ITS COLD". Great Store I don't understand all the negativity. My husband and I bought a Golden from this place about 6 months ago and we paid 600 for her. She is amazing!! The staff has its moments but what place doesn't? And considering individuals who have no intentions of buying an animal are always harassing the animals and letting their children play with them I would be pretty pissed too. ITS NOT A PETTING ZOO!! A Wonderful Place I don't know what is wrong with all you people leaving negative comments. My mother has been the main manager at this store for 12 years now, and I've worked there myself. Yeah, the owner may like money, but you know what, it's a private business, not a franchise so it's not like he can make money off of selling you people stuff for really cheap.
