Pet Warehouse is crap well we got totally screwed 11/15/09 we bought a snozer/poodle mix that was supose to be registered and turns out it wasnt. the dog is very highper and has bit my daughter on two ocassions even though we were told she would be great with our 4 children . also we live on base so the dogs have to be up to date on there shots when i took her to the vet we were told she wasnt and did not have her temerment shots i called the pet store and was told she had her first one and i bought her two days before she w... read more
Do your homework I uesd to work for Pet Warehouse in Jacksonville,it was for only 6 months. My advice to any one wanting to purchase a pet for their family is to do your homework on the breed, be sure (if it is a puppy) that the breed is tolerant with small children. The best thing to do is adopt from your local humane society, those animals need loving homes. If wanting to buy, do your homework on reputable breeders. They lied to me. After reading all these horrible reviews, I consider myself lucky. I bought my Dachshund from the pet warehouse in Jacksonville, NC and they told my he was a mini dachshund (witch is suppose to only weigh 10pounds.) He is now 9 months and weighs 15 pounds. *no im not over feeding him! atleast he is a health puppy.
Very Knowledeable about Salt water. I first started my salt water tank on a whim, and with the Pet warehouse's knowledgeable team I was able to go from a small ten galleon salt tank to a 25 gallon to a 55 gallon. Thanks to Chuck and his team in the fish department even though we have moved all over the place! Including Texas where we are now stationed. I still call them for advice on anything Saltwater. dont buy here!!!! i recently bought a pet from pet wear house and about ten to twenty day's after i got my pet i took her to the vet for a checkup. well to make the story short, the vet said that she had mites... i asked how long she had them... the vet said about a month to a month and a half.. that means that she had them before i got her. oh and every time i went to this store there cats pens were so dirty you just didn't want to touch them .... and they smelled so bad...AGAIN DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!
EVIL DEMON PLACE!!!! o my gosh! this place is terrible! for Christmas, my mom bought me my first pet snake from there. but the store gave us the wrong information to take care of the little guy. and, as it turns out, when we bought him, he was sick! the poor thing ended up dying after about a week. i was ticked! luckily, they gave us another one for free and i just couldn't leave it in that terrible place. now he is healthy and happy but I'm still gonna miss my baby Jake. i HATE pet warehouse. they're terrible!
Sick Puppy My husband and I recently bought a puppy from this establishment. I was skeptical at first because our first dog was purchased from a reputable breeder who warned us about pet store purchases, but we were assured these dogs were also from local breeders and not puppy mills and were very well taken care of. Terrible After I read a few of these other reviews, I can't understand how these people are still in business, seriously?! We should do something to get them shut down.here's my experience with this place:We got a kitten here back in October. I couldn't believe the way it was there, anyone could just open the kitten cages (which are basically just bird cages all wire with no where soft for them to stand) and handle all the kittens. Led to Believe something else Where do I begin. About a year ago I bought a puppy from Pet Warehouse. When I went back 60 days later to get the paper work to mail off for the whole AKC registry no problem. A few months ago we decided to buy another puppy from them.
