If you don't have the money you don't deserve the pet! RUDE employees: I've lived in Jacksonville since 2006 & frequently visit Pet Warehouse because my daughter & I love to visit with the animals. Today we were going in (I'm watching a friend's kid) & opened the door for the two girls to come in, the door was open maybe 10 seconds & the woman at the cash register turns to me and yells "PLEASE SHUT THE DOOR, ITS COLD". Pet Warehouse not recommended for small animals. I dont recommend the Pet Warehouse for purchasing small animals. I purchased an adorable baby female guinea pig three weeks ago and it died three days ago. Im a previous cavy owner and took exceptional care of the critter and she turned out to be very sick and died. I researched and turns out she was sick before we purchased her. Rude employees with horrible customer service I had a horrible experience at Pet Warehouse. My husband and I have been shopping there for a little over a year because they sell the brand of dog food that we purchase for our dogs. I am 8 months pregnant and I went in to buy a 40 pound bag of food. Since I can't carry it myself I asked the employees to help me. I was redirected rudely twice to ask someone else. Pet Warehouse Is Awesome!!! I have no clue what the rest of these people are talking about. We purchased an African Red Bellied Parrot recently, and the staff was amazing. We were not sure that we could afford such an expensive pet, but they let us put a deposit on the bird and kept him there for one month, which was totally against their policy. A Wonderful Place I don't know what is wrong with all you people leaving negative comments. My mother has been the main manager at this store for 12 years now, and I've worked there myself. Yeah, the owner may like money, but you know what, it's a private business, not a franchise so it's not like he can make money off of selling you people stuff for really cheap. They have to stay open somehow.
Great Support from the Staff I am a proud owner of an Argentine Red Tail Boa, a Columbian Red Tail Boa, and a Corn Snake. I go to Pet Warehouse every Sunday to purchase feeder mice and rats. I have had nothing but outstanding support from the reptile department. I bring in my snakes from time to time to address health concerns or just for general suggestions and advice. Do not let them make money off these animals pain Staff was fine when I was buying hamster. Saying she was not in good mood because she got woke up. She was very touchy but thought it was because she wasn't used to people. They didn't want us to take time to look at her just put her in box. Brought her home and she was making horrible noises. Works for me Pet Warehouse is good to me. But I'm only buying snake food from them. The only kind of animals I would buy as pets from ANY pet store is fish. You people that are buying dogs, cats, and other pets there (or any pet store) are asking for trouble anyway.
