Pet Warehouse Is Awesome!!! I have no clue what the rest of these people are talking about. We purchased an African Red Bellied Parrot recently, and the staff was amazing. We were not sure that we could afford such an expensive pet, but they let us put a deposit on the bird and kept him there for one month, which was totally against their policy. TPW I have been going in and out of this store since 2004. I purchased our first pet from the place. I was lucky to have bought a dog that was bred by one of the store personnel. Great temperment with Champions in the bloodlines for the last three generations. The perfect addition to our family. The staff are nice and I have not encountered any rude members as of yet. Great place for a little bit of everything This store has any pet supply a pet owner could need. They also have dogs and cats from local breeders so you do not have to worry about it being from a puppy mill. I purchased my latest puppy from there and the puppy is very healthy. I have also purchased kittens in the past. They have a small fee for kittens. They state the fee is to make sure you are responsible with the kitten. I BOUGHT A DOG I have to say that my experience with Pet Warehouse was pleasant for the most part. When we inquired about the papers of the puppy one of the employees was very hateful. She didn't even check to se if they were in she just said to wait two months. Well we said we were told 6 weeks. She proceeded to say "It was in your paperwork when you bought the dog,it takes 2months!". As far as the puppies overall health, it is in excellent condition. No worms whatsoever!
The Pet Warehouse Groomers Where does one begin but to say, "Stay Away." Our English Bulldog was dropped off after speaking with the groomer that morning. Upon dropping her off, the groomer immediately placed her in a kennel (kicking it). She wore at the co-worker regarding holding a dog being groomed. Once we arrived to pick her up, she was not done, she had a choker collar around her neck and leased to the door knob. Great Support from the Staff I am a proud owner of an Argentine Red Tail Boa, a Columbian Red Tail Boa, and a Corn Snake. I go to Pet Warehouse every Sunday to purchase feeder mice and rats. I have had nothing but outstanding support from the reptile department. I bring in my snakes from time to time to address health concerns or just for general suggestions and advice. Sick Puppy My husband and I recently bought a puppy from this establishment. I was skeptical at first because our first dog was purchased from a reputable breeder who warned us about pet store purchases, but we were assured these dogs were also from local breeders and not puppy mills and were very well taken care of. Not a dime of my money! I visited the Pet Warehouse and talked extensively to the manager about the way his dogs were obtained. He assured me that they didn't come from puppy mills but from local breeders. Do people not realize backyard breeders are just as dangerous as the large puppy mills? Please seek a reputable breeder for your pet purchase!!! PLEASE Do NOT purchase a pet form this store. They support back yard breeders who have no idea what it means to properly beed an animal. Animals that are bred should be bred to improve the bloodline of that breed not to make a buck. Reputable breeders breed for the love of the animal, they often don't profit from the sale of thier pups because they put so much into them and producing a quality healthy animal.
