Pet Warehouse Is Awesome!!! I have no clue what the rest of these people are talking about. We purchased an African Red Bellied Parrot recently, and the staff was amazing. We were not sure that we could afford such an expensive pet, but they let us put a deposit on the bird and kept him there for one month, which was totally against their policy. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE One year ago we bought our lab mix there. She had worms. It was an easy fix and I figured it was just a fluke. We recently bought our pitt bull puppy there as well. The day we got her home she had a cough. We took her to the vet and they told us that she had an upper respiratory infection. They also told me that the Pet Warehouse is known for having roaches. EVIL DEMON PLACE!!!! o my gosh! this place is terrible! for Christmas, my mom bought me my first pet snake from there. but the store gave us the wrong information to take care of the little guy. and, as it turns out, when we bought him, he was sick! the poor thing ended up dying after about a week. i was ticked! luckily, they gave us another one for free and i just couldn't leave it in that terrible place. now he is healthy and happy but I'm still gonna miss my baby Jake. i HATE pet warehouse. they're terrible!
DON'T BUY THERE ANIMALS! THERE ALL SICK I jus recently bought a kitten from pet warehouse, in Jacksonville, NC and there prices are outragoues espically for a kitten.. the are making a pretty penny off your love for animals.. but anyways so grand total i paid almost 80$ for this cat.. last night about 10pm I head the kitten puking.. RUDE employees: I've lived in Jacksonville since 2006 & frequently visit Pet Warehouse because my daughter & I love to visit with the animals. Today we were going in (I'm watching a friend's kid) & opened the door for the two girls to come in, the door was open maybe 10 seconds & the woman at the cash register turns to me and yells "PLEASE SHUT THE DOOR, ITS COLD". Simply a "warehouse" 16 years I have gone to Pet Warehouse to purchase "food" I have always stopped to play with the kittens and found their cages to be clean but I NEVER go near the puppies if I can help it. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how awful these poor things look and the place stinks to high heaven. Please don't support puppy mills! My husband and I did the unthinkable - we actually bought a puppy from a pet store! (The Pet Warehouse). We are responsible people, and we know that buying directly from a breeder is the way to go.....but we fell in love with one of the puppies. I can't say that I ever regretted buying our dog because she is such a special part of our family; but there is no doubt in my mind that she came from a puppy mill. Needs a new staff I spend a lot of money in there for my dog and fish. the groomer there is awesome and the peeps who handle the fish r awesome. but the check out lady is very very very rude. she almost makes me want to take my money else where. it would be a wonderful place if there were some changes in the staff that is there.
Get a life OK First of all if you are going to write crap on here learn how to Fu***** spell. Second You have no idea where these dogs came from so do not assume that they are from a puppy mill. and third if you think it is so bad you don't have to shop there go some where else and stop your Complaining. If you think the pound is so much better go there then. And some people should have to take a test before buying an animal cause there idiots.
