Very Knowledeable about Salt water. I first started my salt water tank on a whim, and with the Pet warehouse's knowledgeable team I was able to go from a small ten galleon salt tank to a 25 gallon to a 55 gallon. Thanks to Chuck and his team in the fish department even though we have moved all over the place! Including Texas where we are now stationed. I still call them for advice on anything Saltwater. TPW I have been going in and out of this store since 2004. I purchased our first pet from the place. I was lucky to have bought a dog that was bred by one of the store personnel. Great temperment with Champions in the bloodlines for the last three generations. The perfect addition to our family. The staff are nice and I have not encountered any rude members as of yet. Do not let them make money off these animals pain Staff was fine when I was buying hamster. Saying she was not in good mood because she got woke up. She was very touchy but thought it was because she wasn't used to people. They didn't want us to take time to look at her just put her in box. Brought her home and she was making horrible noises. Led to Believe something else Where do I begin. About a year ago I bought a puppy from Pet Warehouse. When I went back 60 days later to get the paper work to mail off for the whole AKC registry no problem. A few months ago we decided to buy another puppy from them. HORRIBLE PLACE If it wasn't required I'd give this place no stars at all. I bought my puppy here $1235.00 and I was not informed that it had a genetic defect. One of the males testicles will not decend which the vet said will not could will cause cancer. Also there was smaller things that the so called breeder should have done for the puppy. Nothing but thieves and liers I have recently puchaced a puppy from these people. I originaly bought a cocer spaniel. I was buying this dog for my family expecially my two small children. Before buying the puppy we had a lot of questions. My main concern was if this dog would be good for my children. The staff assured me that this puppy and breed would be great. so we bought her. Great place for a little bit of everything This store has any pet supply a pet owner could need. They also have dogs and cats from local breeders so you do not have to worry about it being from a puppy mill. I purchased my latest puppy from there and the puppy is very healthy. I have also purchased kittens in the past. They have a small fee for kittens. They state the fee is to make sure you are responsible with the kitten. Illegality Is it against the law for this pet store to buy a litter of pup's found on a fencing construction site? I happen to know the person who brings puppies he finds to the Pet Warehouse in Jacksonville, NC. He gets paid peanuts for the puppies and then they are sold for much more. If this is against the law I will surely give out the name of the person bringing the litters in.
A Wonderful Place I don't know what is wrong with all you people leaving negative comments. My mother has been the main manager at this store for 12 years now, and I've worked there myself. Yeah, the owner may like money, but you know what, it's a private business, not a franchise so it's not like he can make money off of selling you people stuff for really cheap.
