Went for lunch yesterday (Saturday)and we were slightly disappointed given all the food reviews Staff were not really attentive When we all received our main course one of our party had to wait until we were almost halfway through our meal before receiving there vegetables- 3 members of the team were informed about this Both the lamb dishes were only warm at best and served on cool plates Both apple crumbles ordered were no more than warm The coffees we all ordered were lukewarm Having said all that the food was very tasty

Such a wonderful atmosphere, great food and friendly service.
We had 16 for breakfast at the Packhorse Inn the day after daughters wedding. The staff were fantastic holding the kitchen open after their official closing time. The breakfast was also superb, delivered all at the same time which was impressive. I cannot thank them enough for making the effort to host us. It finished off a perfect wedding.
Dined as a group at The Packhorse and Gabriella could not have been more attentive! Wonderful setting, delicious food and an all round excellent experience! Need to come back soon with our four-legged friend too.
