Such an amazing place, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Big rooms with character and all amenities, amazing communal terrace for drinks and food, the food and drinks were incredible, we preferred drinking and eating here to anywhere in the local towns. The staff and owners also could do enough, loved it
I stayed here with family and it was an amazing home. The place is spacious, comfortable and conducive to family gatherings. The downstairs living room can accommodate everyone as can the entertainment area upstairs. Every room is ensuite and the property has a lovely quirkiness giving it a unique feel to other rental properties. The pink hut is small but comfortable, however 2 people couldn't be in it at the same time unless sleeping! Despite that, I fully recommend staying here. We've just got back from a perfect family holiday at The Outbuildings with Oyster Holiday Cottages. We were very lucky with the weather, but the property itself was ideal with an on-site tennis court, a snooker table, and plenty of space for 13 of us. Is it possible to find a special place and never want to leave? My husband booked a 2 night stay in The Pen for my 60th birthday - it had its own verandah overlooking unspoilt views; a cosy rustic cabin which housed everything you could want for a luxurious yet comfortable stay.
