Such a warm welcome from the new owners at the Open Arms Hotel. They have breathed new life into this East Lothian institution. Tremendous private meal in the Heather Room. Keep up the great work. We will be back.
This is a review of the restaurant, we visited here for a birthday dinner. Food was overpriced for the standard of service and quality of food. Battered fish was small for £22 and mushy peas were not available. Chips were perfect. Menu said it came with tartare sauce but I had to ask for it afterwards and so did my family. Vegetarian Haggis Wellington was delicious and a great idea from the kitchen. Whiskey sauce was brilliant. Again the portion was rather small. A party of 8 had dinner last night. The service was excellent and staff very attentive. The food was excellent.
Small and quiet hotel, with very friendly staff and good food. Room was clean, cozy and beautiful. Loved to read the newspaper at the sitting room while sipping a cup of tea. There is free hotel car park
Booked in on fri with.working in the area.welcone is amazing the extensive choice on the menu is untouched.the rooms are spotless clean.nothing is an issue for the staff can't do enough for you in any way.eaten in here all weekend every meal quality of the food is unparalleled.the attitude amir the manager is never stopped making sure all guest are comfortable has an ease about and is very pleasant and friendly totally recommend this establishment to any one.
