Located off the lobby of the Seelbach, this bar offers over forty bourbons, expertly mixed cocktails, and heavenly desserts like the Warm Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie. The Seelbach is known for its artfully restored, early 1900s decor, and this elegant watering hole was not passed over. The bar itself is a fine piece of mahogany, and it's as inviting a bar as ever there was. The bar is staffed by a crew not only expert at drink mixing, but also at spinning yarns about the hotel, the neighborhood, and the great state of Kentuc... read more

I was a little disappointed. Our room was tiny. The historical part of it is charming. However, for the price I expected more. I doubt that i will ever stay here again.
We loved the hotel, seriously! We had two rooms, connecting on the 9th floor. Something about the old world architecture we love. Staff was wonderful from the front desk to the valet attendants. Also, wasn't a bad perk to run into Jeremy Irons on the elevator!
Old hotel. Rooms too small. No refrigerator. I requested for a refrigerator for my toddlers milk and food and it took them 3 hours just to let me know that they don't have it. Not recommended. Marriott is way better where we stayed last year for Ironman.
So glad to see a beautiful grande dame hotel preserved as well as the Seelbach. I travel a good deal with business, and enjoyed the building, the lobby, the room, and the staff. Room service was slow, and my cocktail was terrible, but breakfast downstairs was beyond perfect. I will definitely come again.
What a magical hotel! We loved the Rathskeller room and the stories about Al Capone and F Scott Fitzgerald. Any visitors should sit in the lobby and just look up and take in its majestic beauty.
Great service and staff. Highly recommend, fantastic hotel in downtown Louisville
The staff that helped with the NACM-CFDD National Conference were so amazing. Everyone so helpful, polite, and generous of their time. David who set up the audio/visual equipment was incredibly patient and beyond helpful. The bell staff were all polite and helpful. The wait staff were funny, polite and just all around very nice. Guest services were on top of it when we needed it.
Best hotel sleep I have had in years! The beds were wonderful and each had four pillows❤️ The atmosphere was beautiful and the dining experience was even better with a plus of a Starbucks on site❤️
My husband booked a king deluxe room. When we checked into the room, there was nothing deluxe about the room. It's so tiny and the bathroom is a joke. The pictures of the rooms on their website are misleading. The bathroom sink is just a white pedestal, so it can be squeezed into the bathroom. I don't care how historic it is. Nothing special about paying that much to stay in a Cracker Jack box, room. We were so disappointed, we left and stayed at another hotel. Still had to pay for a nights stay here. Wouldn't refund us and ... read more
