About this business

Located off the lobby of the Seelbach, this bar offers over forty bourbons, expertly mixed cocktails, and heavenly desserts like the Warm Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie. The Seelbach is known for its artfully restored, early 1900s decor, and this elegant watering hole was not passed over. The bar itself is a fine piece of mahogany, and it's as inviting a bar as ever there was. The bar is staffed by a crew not only expert at drink mixing, but also at spinning yarns about the hotel, the neighborhood, and the great state of Kentuc... read more

Made a mistake staying at this hotel. Check-in was the worst! Received notification from the Hilton app saying that room was ready, so we arrived at the hotel 40 minutes before check-in time in hopes of being allowed to check in early. We were told we had to wait until check-in at 4:00. I returned to the desk at 4:00, only to be told that our room still wasn't ready. My handicapped mother was wish us, so this was a very uncomfortable situation for her! Our room wasn't ready for another half hour, making us late for Opening N... read more

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown. The entry way & reception/front desk area are beautifully kept. The rooms are pretty tiny with walls thin enough to hear the people on each side of you. For this type of hotel, I would have expected better mattresses. I was shocked at how uncomfortable the bed actually was. Rooms were super clean & we were in walking distance to every place we wantd to be. Brunch at the cafe was terrific!

We stayed at the Seelbach one night to attend a concert at the KFC Yum! Center. The valet service was great and staff was very friendly. The lobby is beautiful. Our room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The hotel is old so has a lot of character but it's well maintained. We would definitely stay again.
