Located off the lobby of the Seelbach, this bar offers over forty bourbons, expertly mixed cocktails, and heavenly desserts like the Warm Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie. The Seelbach is known for its artfully restored, early 1900s decor, and this elegant watering hole was not passed over. The bar itself is a fine piece of mahogany, and it's as inviting a bar as ever there was. The bar is staffed by a crew not only expert at drink mixing, but also at spinning yarns about the hotel, the neighborhood, and the great state of Kentuc... read more

Very beautiful hotel staff was very nice and helpful
The best thing about the Sellback....the people! Security Manager, Patrick, is AMAZING! He found me in the Rathskeller room and began to tell me of the rich history of the room and the hotel. The architecture of the building was beautiful. I love the history behind the hotel. Glad I stayed.
I loved my best meal of my life at the oak room! Chef Patrick Rooney!
Me and Jenn felt like Bonnie and Clyde hangin out in the Rathskeller Bar!! Beautiful property with such great history!!
Spent the weekend in Louisville and loved the Seelbach. A lot of character and class. Everyone working there made you feel like a million bucks.
It's over priced, tiny rooms, no minibar no fridge, beds are too small for couples
I forgot my makeup bag almost 2 weeks ago when me and my husband stayed there . We have been calling to the hotel and all they say is that house keeping is closed at that time and leave a message , we left a lot of voice messages during the past week and we haven't heard anything from them when they also said they would call us back . I am very disappointed
It was a great place to stay. Interesting history. Would go back again
