From start to end Lewis and his team were exceptional, what ever we wanted done was done. Nothing was to much trouble. Which enabled us to have a great day and we would highly recommend the old house inn and the team for a wedding venue. To all a very big thank you. Regards Brian and Terri Hughes.
Booked a garden table for four adults for dinner on 15.8.25 - it was very disappointing (after good experiences previously in the restaurant inside). A wedding party was taking place and was clearly the priority (pity I was not notified of this when I booked.) The table with benches was grubby and covered in bird droppings - no attempt to clean it until we had to ask. 5 of us visited this lovely Pub and once again enjoyed excellent service from a friendly team of waitresses ( professional service makes all the difference). I had a whole sea bass, and my guests enjoyed fish and chips and an excellent roast chicken (that barely fitted on the plate !,) very generous portions freshly prepared. Always a good experience Plenty of parking.
Stayed here for a wedding party, lovely setting, great atmosphere, only real criticism was the gravel car park which was extremely difficult to walk on in high heels (wife's not mine) and pretty much ruined her shoes. Made worse as the disabled parking spot is furthest away from the entrance.
