Wir waren in Apartment 2 des Old Convent. Felicity und Chris sind perfekte Gastgeber, die uns herzlich begrüßt und uns alles erklärt haben. Sie haben uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und hatten diese auch schriftlich in einer Mappe gesammelt. Die Einrichtung ist ganz toll und stilvoll. Wir haben die 10 Nächte vor Ort sehr genossen. Hier stimmte jedes Detail. Sollten wir nochmal in die Highlands fahren, würde ich Fort Augustus und das Old Convent als Ausgangspunkt jederzeit wieder buchen.
For fans of restoration, this place rocks. Delights abound from floor to tall crown crown-molding ceilings. Big spaces and big windows. Thick drapes. Restored floors with delightful angled stairs and cut-ins. As well as the big picture décor, the details were also fabulous. Pre-loaded wood-burning fireplace. Laundry, dishwasher, even a hot-water bottle. This is the first place in a month in the UK that actually had ice cubes in the freezer. The best of ever
Absolutely top notch - really lovely and comfortable apartment with everything you could want, kind and responsive hosts, easy short walk to town and Loch Ness. We've stayed in many places over the past few months and this is by far the best.
We spent a fantastic 3 nights in apartment 1 at the old convent. The apartment was immaculate with all the facilities you need for a holiday, and more. The entire building has been tastefully renovated. Sitting on the outskirts of Fort Augustus, it's lovely, quiet, and relaxing but only a short walk to town if you fancy venturing into the centre for food or drink in the evening.
