Great seafood, incredible service – One of the bell persons at our hotel put us on to Oceanaire. It was so fantastic that we went back with five additional guests a second night. Those guests who love oysters raved about the selection and the quality. Their 8oz glasses of wine for a little more than the standard 4oz price was a delight. And, oh, the desserts! Ridiculously bad – Went with a group of six. Drinks/wine were blatantly overpiced by at least 30%. Service was passable but our orders were all wrong. Appetizers were bland. Everyone's order had something wrong. I think they have to try to be that bad. Food was okay but could have gotten better almost anywhere for this price. Not a good value or worth ever visiting again. And the chairs were uncomfortable. All in all, one of my worst experience anywhere, ever.
excellent – everything we ordered was simply delicious. from the bread to dessert, everything was really exceptional. service matched the food. alcohol is overpriced though. will be back.
Geat food- Great atmosphere – My husband and I first went to Oceanaire last year during restaurant week. We had the best crab cakes that we ever had and go back everytime we crave crab cakes. The wait staff was excellent - they didn't rush us out - very good pace between courses. Will continue to go back.
Great dining experience – We went herd while in town for a conference. It was great! the food was just incredible. Many choices...menu changes daily. if you like seafood, you will love this place.
ABSOLUTELY PERFECT EVENING – We made a New Year's resolution - this year - to have dinner once a month with friends of over 20 years. We have to go to a "new" restaurant, which we have not been to before. I had been to the one in Dallas...thoroughly enjoyed, so this was our June choice. best crab cakes in san diego – This is my all time favorite restaurant in San Diego! Grab a seat at the bar, order a French 75, crab cakes and chili rock shrimp and I promise you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere doesn't get any better!
Rude – Never have I been treated more rudely be a host! I would never done there, no matter the quality of the food.
THIS PLACE ROCKS !! – This is my 5th visit to Oceanaire and just wanted the staff to know i really appreciate what they do. the service is second to none and the Chef Skip is on point came out to make sure everything was perfect..of course it was and recommend to all that want a perfect night out with the Best Seafood in Houston !!
