I love this place – I love the fact that the food and the service of place always consistance, the best quarlity of seafood. LOVE IT!
OCEANAIRE? JUST SAY NO! – Poor service - expensive - food was messed up by SR3429 at Citysearch Had lunch on Dec. 22 with large group. Waiter ignored us. Food was messed up - not right. Had a ketchup bottle explode all over a couple of people in the group which was hilarious but waiter was not so sorry about. Had to ask for the waiter multiple times and bring things to his attention such as refilling drinks, food was wrong and ordered coffee and was brought cup and cream but no coffee. Great seafood! – I have been to The Oceanaire about 50 times. The food and atmosphere is great every time. They have absolutely the best oysters (if you like oysters). Try their hash browns "Oceanaire" style! Yum!!!
Never again – My children took me there for mother's day dinner. To start, no bottled water, only tap water. We ask for wine, and never arrived. I noticed that when people where seated, they were offered bread and something else, that we were not offered. To top it off, when we asked for coffee and sugar, they were out of sugar. But the bill was right out with the cup of coffee, which I took as Please pay and go, No more service for you. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
OK food ruined by horrible service – We were there around a little over week ago for a friend's farewell dinner because we read and heard good things about this place. The waiter recommended a yellowfin tuma dish to us and said that this dish is a fav at the place and that it came with a seaweed salad as a side. All Done With Smoke and Mirrors – We joined friends of ours here lately, to celebrate a Birthday dinner. I have to admit that the decor is enticing, the view of Westheimer at sunset is sublime, and the formally dressed waiters are impressive. However, I was not thrilled to ordere what was supposed to be "Carolina whole stuffed flounder" at $30, only to receive a plate with about 3 oz of fish with a tablespoon of dressing hiding underneath it. Not great... – I visited M & S Grille on Valentine's Day with my wife. The atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent. The steak that I ordered was terrible. More than half of the cut was fat, and the steak was overcooked. I've visited several steakhouses around the country and was really disappointed in this one. The price is not worth the poor quality of the food.
