The Oaks is perfectly placed for those wanting to explore Alnwick. We stayed in a lovely family room with full ensuite. The beds were really comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The decor was a little tired in places, but it was still excellent value for money. We had breakfast each morning which was ok, though it lacked consistency, and dined one night in the evening where the food was nice, but the service not best, as no-one checked in to see if everything was ok with our meal. I would stay again.
