A lovely Georgian manor house hotel & spa. Set in grounds with river access. Lodge/room we stayed in was really nice, with lounge, modern four poster bed in large bedroom & large en-suite bathroom with both shower & bath. Good food in restaurant. Lovely spa available for guests to use, but book ahead to get a time slot to use. Full menu of spa treatments available to book, too. Good service from the staff. Great service and food. Had a lovely birthday meal with my husband. The duck was lovely Wouldn't recommend the créme brûlée tasted a bit ready made. Husband had the Hazelnut chocolate delice and said it was lovely.
We had 3 nights at The Norfolk Mead and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food fantastic. I am coeliac and felt completely confident that my dietary needs were catered for. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We also made use of the spa facilities (2 hours complimentary for guests) which was a real treat, particularly the hydro pool. We'd definitely recommend staying here.
Such a beautiful and relaxing Spa, so happy to have found a fabulous therapist in Kelly, who is an excellent masseuse. In my personal experience, finding someone who is able to provide an excellent deep tissue massage is rare, Kelly is excellent and I will be booking in regularly to work on my painful neck and shoulders. Thanks so much Kelly.
We had our wedding with the Norfolk Mead on the 23rd of August 2025, and everything went so smoothly. We cannot fault the venue or the amazing team who made our day so special. From our initial enquiry to saying goodbye, we've been treated as VIPs. I highly recommend the Norfolk Mead for both events and also as a wonderful place to visit and stay. Thank you to the team, especially Danni and Frankie, for making all our dreams come true x
