Landlady is a dragon! Heard good reviews on this place and due to our location thought would be a great spot. On arrival went to bar as instructed barmaid advised us it was £20 to stop?? We questioned that as we planned on having drinks and evening meal. Eventually advised that would wave that if eating. Ok we thought. We then went on to choose our meal at 5.40pm nothing out of this world just simple dinners. There were 5 other people in pub who after about half hr went and ordered food. By 7pm still nothing??? Stopped over for the night in the van. Warmly welcomed, good honest pub grub, local pub not chain. Toilet available 24hr if staying in van.
Its brilliant place to go to and when they got entrainment its outstanding night grt food and lots of dancing
We had an excellent stay here in a camper van on our way back from Pembroke dock to London. The really friendly welcome and good food were great and the use of a shower and loo 24/7 are a splendid extra to have. It is so refreshing to find a pub that it still a pub and not a wannabe coffee shop. There were a couple of other campers parked up too and the atmosphere was family friendly and quiet. I'd recommend the Olway Inn for a visit with or without staying the night.
