I always leave miserable, but it's my own fault. I always eat too much there. This is what all grill joints should be like, yet seldom are.

Same experiences others are describing. Owner was onsite yet appeared indifferent to bad service and super soggy Chicago dog. Atmosphere was tense and angsty. Lettuce is fresh and they make a good salad.
I wasn't impressed...have eaten there a few times..found the staff to be rude and the tension you could cut like a knife. The food was ok at best

I love this place. The Mug has amazing food, and the employees are always so nice! I'd be here once a week if I could! I always recommend the Mug to family and friends who have yet to be there.
Supposed to be fast but waited 15 mins for food and the sizes you get for the prices are ridiculous food is good but not worth the price

We've only lived here a couple of months, but The Mug was one of first dining experiences in Irvington. Since then, we've become regulars (at least once a week). The food is always good and the service is always friendly. That combination will keep us coming back.
We live about an hour north of Columbus,Ohio and was coming into town for the weekend. We did a Google search and found this gem !! We loved the food ! You could taste the freshness and that it was made with love !!
