Had the pleasure of photographing a delightful wedding in August 2025 at The Mill in Wakefield. The venue is well located with ample parking close by and the mill itself has been converted into a stunning wedding venue. Exposed brick and original industrial features make for fabulous wedding photography and, if you get prior permission, the Hepworth Gardens situated next door, is a stunning backdrop for your wedding photography. Where do I even start!! The shambolic new owners Alex and Christian should be ashamed of their dishonesty and dishonour, they were a nightmare to deal with from the very beginning right up until the very day of my wedding. Originally started with a random phone call from them demanding extra money for venue hire or my deposit back 6 months before my wedding because it was Easter Sunday and ‘they’d be losing out on money’.
